It’s no secret that Texas has become a mecca for businesses, families and individuals fleeing high taxes on the coasts and gateway markets for the friendly business, tax, and social environs of Texas.
Based on a survey of CEO’s nationwide, Chief Executive Magazine once again named Texas the best state to do business in for the 16th year in a row. In the last place was California. It should come as no surprise that businesses are leaving California in droves for the greener pastures of Texas, where low business taxes, friendly regulators, and a diverse and growing labor force are big draws.
